HIV Clinical Preceptor Program

Local Partner Organization
Family Health International (FHI)
National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS Nepal (NAP+N)

Program Overview
In collaboration with the local health authorities, FHI, and NAP+N, ICEHA clinical mentors are assisting with the build-up of HIV/AIDS medical expertise in northwestern Nepal. With ARVs now being introduced in zonal hospitals in the Kailali and Kanchanpur districts, it is important for local healthcare providers to become confident and knowledgeable about HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
